Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate

Your tour begins with an early pickup from your accommodation in Marrakech. You will travel across the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m), enjoying panoramic views and Berber mountain villages.

Your first major stop is the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou, famous for its fortress-like ksar and its appearance in films like Gladiator and Game of Thrones.

After lunch, continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa,” where you can visit Taourirt Kasbah or the Atlas Film Studios.

Overnight in Ouarzazate.

Day 2: Ouarzazate – Skoura – Dades Valley

After breakfast, drive toward the oasis of Skoura, home to palm groves and the stunning Kasbah Amridil, one of the best-preserved ksours of southern Morocco.

Continue your journey through the Valley of Roses, famous for rosewater products, before entering the scenic Dades Valley with its amazing rock formations and winding road known as the “Dades Curves.”

Day 3: Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Merzouga (Erg Chebbi Dunes)

Today you will explore the dramatic Todra Gorge, a natural canyon with cliffs towering up to 300 meters—perfect for walking and photography.

Then continue your drive toward the Sahara, passing through Tinjdad, Touroug, and Erfoud, known for their desert oases and fossil workshops.

By afternoon, you arrive in Merzouga, where your camel guide will lead you across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi to your luxury or standard desert camp.

Day 4: Merzouga Desert Exploration

This day is dedicated to discovering life around the desert. After breakfast, enjoy a 4×4 desert tour, visiting:

• Khamlia village (Gnawa music)

• Nomad families living in traditional tents

• Black Desert & volcanic stones

• Desert oases

Return to the village of Merzouga for some relaxation, or explore the dunes on a quad or buggy (optional).

Day 5: Merzouga – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

After an early breakfast, begin your journey back to Marrakech, passing through:

• Rissani, birthplace of the Alaouite dynasty

• The expansive Draa Valley, Morocco’s longest palm oasis

• Agdz village

• Ouarzazate (quick stop)

Continue through the High Atlas Mountains and reach Marrakech in the early evening.
