📍 Day 3: Fes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert

Leave Fes in the morning and travel south through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, the “Switzerland of Morocco,” and continue to the Cedar Forest of Azrou, home to friendly Barbary monkeys.

Drive through Midelt and the scenic Ziz Valley, arriving in Merzouga Desert in the late afternoon. Meet your camel caravan and enjoy a sunset camel trek across the dunes of Erg Chebbi.

Arrive at your desert camp, enjoy traditional dinner and Berber music, and spend the night under the stars.

📍 Day 4: Merzouga Desert Exploration – Khamlia – Black Desert – Nomad Visit

Wake up early to see the sunrise over the Sahara dunes. After breakfast, explore the desert region:

• Visit a nomad family, share tea, and experience desert life

• Walk through the Merzouga Palm Grove and oasis

Continue through the Dades Valley, stopping at scenic viewpoints and rock formations such as the “Monkey Fingers.” Optionally, visit the Roses Valley (seasonal), famous for rosewater and ancient kasbahs.

Explore the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a traditional mud-brick fortress and filming location for Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Then, cross the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n’Tichka Pass to reach Marrakech.
