Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Zagora (Camel Trekking)

Your adventure begins with an early pick-up from your hotel in Marrakech. You will travel across the High Atlas Mountains through the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m), offering breathtaking views and traditional Berber villages.

Your first major stop is the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, a famous fortified ksar used as a filming location for Gladiator, Game of Thrones, and many more.

After lunch, continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Sahara,” before driving through the Draa Valley, Morocco’s longest palm oasis.

By late afternoon, you reach Zagora, where you will begin your camel trek into the desert. Enjoy the magical sunset over the dunes and settle into your Berber desert camp.

Day 2: Zagora – Agdez – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

Wake up early to witness a peaceful sunrise over the desert dunes, followed by breakfast at the camp.

You will then ride camels back to the road or be transferred by 4×4 to meet your driver. Begin the trip back to Marrakech through the scenic landscapes of the Draa Valley and the Anti-Atlas Mountains.

Stop again in Ouarzazate for lunch or a visit to Taourirt Kasbah (optional), then continue driving through the High Atlas Mountains.

Arrive in Marrakech in the early evening, where your driver will drop you off at your accommodation.
